“America's most prolific and distinctive ambient label hooks up with Slow Dancing Society of Richland, Washington, for 14 tracks of properly deep state slow motion behaviour. This is drone music at its very sweetest, with the likes of 'We're All In The Dark Looking For A Light' and 'Tethered To Dusk' proving to be big, gradually evolving pieces using mainly gorgeously sustained synth notes and occasionally garnished with lilting guitar notes. 'Sun Makes Sound', meanwhile, has a more tactile, organic feel, with a raw recording complete with the creak of piano hammers. Dreamy, all-enveloping melodies mapped out on an interstellar scale.”
